She does it daily. My crumb sowing happy seeds of goodness wherever she goes.
Shouldn't joy be contagious?
When studying facial expressions and emotion in college, my project was completely focused on the smile. As to not bore you with the details of the study, I'll just say this: smiles are free, full of healthy benefits, make others copy-cat this grand upward muscle movement, and they make you look so much prettier.
So will you sow some happy too?
Let's all spread a beautiful smile every single chance we get!
[Gaia with Seeds ~ oil painting by Sean Patrick McArdle]

"Happy is as happy does!" Today we shall be attending the funeral of a happy and spirited "104" years young lady. All I can think of is her contagious smile and charm. Just think of the memory of one's smile which leaves an everlasting impression.

ReplyDeleteDearest Mel,
ReplyDeleteGaia looks like a fairy of all things made by God! A delicate little flower fairy spreading her magical seeds to grow. Sean captures the pure essence of her. So so graceful and laced with so much bright, delicate live energy~~
Hugs to you my beautiful friend!

Sean is seriously talented -- I love this painting of Gaia. She looks both angelic and very much a young earth goddess. And I never thought about a smile having so much affect, but it does, doesn't it?
