{Georgia} On My Mind

As we walk around the squares of little ol' towns, I'm reminded of history, Georgia's past ~ the good and the bad.  Deserted cotton gins, abandoned pianos, and empty brick buildings are forlorn objects that tell their own piece of the story. My thoughts find solace from Her motto of : Wisdom, Justice, and Moderation; words held dear to my heart and forever keeping Georgia on My Mind.

  5. Melissa, your words are a beautiful compliment to Sean's photography. Such a treat to see two artists who work together so well. I can't get enough of your Georgia posts. Please keep them coming.

  7. Sean's photography is breathtaking! What spectacular images! And I may just buy that mansion, you know.

Come home eventually, though! Our sunless bay area summer is less wonderful without you.

  9. Dear Mel,
What subtle beauty that has been left behind. I would put one of those cotton gins in my suitcase. It seems like it would be the perfect organic authentic piece of art!
