Our first trip to Europe will begin in Venice and so I especially love this photograph. But, more importantly, the quote. How true is that?! Enjoy your weekend.

I started my blog today with a Venice laundry photo too! Was there in June, without kids. And let me just say, traveling without them for the first time was HEAVEN. Totally recharged the batteries. But I do love showing them the world too (next stop: Mexico). Love the picture of Guapa with the ice cream.
Gorgeous! And one of my favorite places in the world! Thank you so much for your sweet comment yesterday. It's always so great to "meet" a fellow traveler. We are definitely spirits! Have a wonderful weekend! xoxo, alek

Ooooo you naughty girl..... reminding me that this time last year I was in Venice, probably walking past that very washing line ( or should I say floating past!! ).....never mind...I'm going to the Amalfi coast in a weeks time.!!!! Yeah.I think that I've told every blog that I'm going to Italy !!!! XXXX
Gorgeous photo, Melissa, and I love this proverb so much. This reminds me of the story of the apprentice who visits the famous philosopher at his home and finds him in his kitchen doing the dishes. The young man is surprised to see the great man doing such a menial chore, and he says, "Master, what on earth are you doing?" The master replies, "My son, I'm doing philosophy." Thank you for your beautiful comment on my blog this week! xoxo
What a great photo. I would love to live in such a cool place like that.
I love this photo. Aside from the fact that it's Venice, I for some reason take a lot of photos of other people's laundry when I travel. Hope you're in the middle of a lovely weekend.
